I was actually around for the world debut of Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue. They showed it to us in first grade like it was this earth-shattering global event.
And then I watched my generation grow up to not only almost all smoke pot but start getting it legalized.
I mean Mr. Smoke is way too fucking cool. I still don’t smoke but I would still start if this guy personally told me to.
You know what I always hated about this special? Several of the
characters clearly start out as physical objects, but end up joining the
big poster(?) at the end. It just really bugs me.
Almost all of them in fact are the little girl’s belonging’s and end up part of the poster on the wall of her brothers room.
All of her possessions leave her to silently stare at and judge her brother, forever. Pretty fucked up.
But what’s even more fucked up is that Slimer’s one of the one that just exists and is in her house for no reason
