how do i explain to people that the invention that nasa is calling a “warp drive” that will take us to mars in 3 weeks isn’t an alcubierre engine because they rely on completely theoretical particles and it’s not meant to travel ftl but instead it’s actually weirder because every explanation and diagram ive seen say it’s a fucking microwave built into a fucking triangle and it shouldn’t go anywhere at all but It Does and newton’s laws might actually be fucking wrong and we might be pulling momentum from nowhere

It’s the EM drive and please we need to never confuse it with a warp drive ever again but also Look It Up because science is Fake
