ugh the concern-trolling shits in the comments of that post being all like ‘self-medding is dangerous!’ like that isn’t the message blasted at massive volume from every source if you do any kind of research whatsoever into self-medding

if you’re really so fucking concerned about the wellbeing of people who are self-medding hrt, end the absurd eugenic gatekeeping system of gender ‘care’ and fight to make it so that you can get HRT from your GP on an informed-consent basis without waiting years or having to carefully line up the right story for a succession of psychiatrists and doctors, and give GPs the guidance and training to do bloods without having to write a letter to the GIC for every single thing. or, if you prefer, some other way to get good quality, well-monitored HRT into the hands of trans people as soon as we need it.

but if you’re not going to fight for that, you don’t actually give a shit about trans peoples’ health, so shut the fuck up and spare us the noise when we do what we have to to survive this shit.
