[ image description is tweet by shailija Patel that says,Β βimperial feminists love girls in Muslim countries who want to go to school. But were silent when the US bombed Baghdadβs National Library, burning every PhD dissertation ever written by an Iraqi woman.β ]
These posts matched each other so perfectly I thought they were the same post at first
[image description: a screenshot of opβs dashboard showing two posts. First a text post by windsroad that reads, βwhy do people in dnd each occupy a 5ft by 5ft square, how far apart do you think people need to be? why are dnd minis afraid of touchingβ
Below that is a quote (source: buckykingofmemes) that says, βthose are bold words for someone in stabbing rangeβ /end image description]
KIRK WORRYING THAT HE OBJECTIFIES WOMEN. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND REALLY SOAK THIS IN.Β
[Image description: The first image is a two-panel Star Trek comic where Kirk asks Bones, βBonesβ¦ do you think I like women?β In the second panel, Bones reacts to this by coughing and spilling his drink all over himself.
In the second image, Bones asks Kirk to clarify his question, asking, βAsβ¦ uhβ¦ As opposed to what?β Kirk replies, saying, βAs opposed to feeling threatened by them. I mean, do you think Iβm someone who feels uncomfortable being subordinate to, or on par with, a woman? Am I someone who relegates each woman I meet – especially the good-looking ones – to the status of either βI want herβ or βI donβt want herβ?β]

I saw a post by @adhdmoi about sensory overload and realized it was relatable for anxiety, autism, and ADHD. so i made a meme.
[id= a picture of three arms with their hands held together in the center. One arm is labelled βADHDβ another is labelled βAnxiety Disorderβ and the third is labelled βAutism Spectrum Disorderβ. Where the three hands are held together there is a cropped screenshot of a post by adhdmoi that says βhhhhhhhhhhhh TOO LOUDβ /end id]
I donβt know if this is weird or not, but I totes read Mulan as a trans woman! I tend to read allΒ βwomen who pretend to be menβ stories as veryΒ similar to my experience. In contrast, Iβve never imagined that a character presented to the audience as male was actually a trans woman.Β
Is my way much rarer?
In any event, I think we can all love Mulan!

2. A photo of three joined hands, each one holding the wrist to their right. The hands are labeled βlesbiansβ βtrans menβ and βbi ppl who stan shengβ. The space in the middle is labeled βloving mulanβ.
3. A pixilated stick photo of four hands clasped in a circle with the words superimposed on top: β all LGBT people interpreting mulanβs undoubtably LGBT identity differently depending on their own experience, and subsequently loving Mulan because of our overlap of experience as LGBT peopleβ End description.]
