Nobody knew what the heck was going on in Doctor Whomst story “Ghost Light” except Marc Platt.

[id: screenshot of some text reading ‘is never clearly explained. The plot is onlly fully explained in the DVD special feature ‘Light in Dark Places.’ Even the cast and director of the story were confused by the script, and made repeated calls the Marc Platt for explanations.’ end id]

“yeah but the doctor can’t be asexual or aromantic because-”

I literally do not care

leaving issues of the canonicity of looms aside if you bring up susan as ‘evidence’ of heterosexuality i will beat you round the head with evidence of people outside fertile heterosexual relationships having children because jfc HUMANS can mange it so i’m pretty sure timelords can (x)

Timelords have mastered time and space travel and used to regularly hop between parallel universes and you’re telling me they didn’t have ways of having children that didn’t involve sex?

doctress:

Other evidence that Time Lords are Fair folk:

– They use celtic-inspired symbols (The seal of Rassilon)

– They are very good at not being seen.

– They exist in a realm that is separate from ours but alongside us (Gallifrey/inner time).

– You need to be a Time Lord or be invited/taken by a Time Lord to visit this realm (the Transduction Barrier requires permission to let ships pass through it)

– They don’t trust outsiders.

– They are ruled by a court of sorts (the High Council).

– They have very particular rules that must be followed.

– The Doctor and The Master have attitudes that are very Seelie and Unseelie, respectively.

– There are ‘hotspots’ in history where you are more likely to find them.

– Comparisons can be made of Time Lords to beings like elves, demons or angels

– Do Not Spend Too Long On Gallifrey.Â
