If you view being racist as integral to white childhood and being asked + taught to critically engage with how you view people of color as someone destroying innocence or forcing a child to grow up, you are indisputably implying children of color should be silent victims.

Yall really be like “If hot women slept with incels they wont kill women!!1! “ and “If you stop punching nazis and dont turn down dates with them maybe they wont hate you so much!!” as if men having wives still dont kill and rape women and racist white men who have dated black women still dont go around abusing black people and calling cops on them when they breathe around them lol.
If having sex with one’s oppressor made the oppressor stop oppressing that group of people then slave owners in history would have freed their slaves ages ago and misogyny would not even exist lmao.
I feel like those “sexism/gendered expectations hurt men too” things would be a lot more effective if they didn’t just focus on internal issues guys being afraid to express their feelings or wear pink and acknowledged that, as not all men are equal in society, more external things like acts of violence that men experience at the hands of other men is often in part due to feelings about proving one’s masculinity. There have been multiple studies on how sexism is a gateway to white supremacy, for example and certain acts of racist violence when the target is a man can be an example of a man experiencing the negative effects of another man’s attempt to fulfill what he sees as gendered expectations (in addition to racism, because intersectionality and all). Homophobic violence against gay and bi men is perhaps a more obvious example of men suffering due to expectations of masculinity. Heck, if we’re going to expand this and include boys and not just men, the abuse some boys experience at the hands of the adult men in their life are acts of toxic masculinity. I think that’s why I get kind of a bad vibe when I see “feminist responses” stating that the ways that men are negatively impacted by gender expectations is their own fault, because I really don’t think some adult man dealing with trauma from his abusive father or who has faced homophobic or racist violence is really to blame for that on a personal level.
Edit: MRAs, get off of my post. This was meant to criticize a specific issue within certain sects of feminism and your irrelevant ramblings about your issues with “females” are not adding at all to the discussion I was trying to start.
it’s so strange that there’s a macguyver episode of all things, where nazis are the bad guys and it feels like something that can’t be made today. a lot of macguyver is those Special Learning Moment episodes with messages like “Don’t do drugs”, “Keep your guns out of the reach of children” and like, i wish “Nazis were unforgivable cowards and their ideology should be stamped out before it can take a foothold in the US” was on that same level again, as something so obvious to your average child that it’s basically overdone. but no now it’s divisive. now it’s anti free speech to… write an episode critical about a racist ideology. now it’s unreasonably political. now it’s blatant virtue signalling. now it’s just this postmodern SJW bullshit, unlike Back In The Good Old Days where we just might not have been paying the slightest bit of attention

woke: taking responsibility for yourself, monitoring your own actions, being receptive of criticism even if it’s not delivered to you in a nice way

woke: realizing you should be embarrassed i had to tell you this shit
nonblack lesbians arent studs
Look at this. Read it. Then read it again.
Ok actually I’mma add something, as there are people confused in the tags about what this means. “Stud” (in the context of lesbianism) is a black identity identity akin to what butch would be considered. It’s a unique role and identity that originated from black lesbian communities (same as AG/aggressive(s) girls/stem/boi). There has been a problem with white lesbians in particular putting themselves in the stud tag and plastering their faces all other spaces/media made for STUDS (a specific group of GNC black lesbians). It’s really annoying and tiring because most of these white self pro claimed “studs” end up emulating masculine coded behaviour that is found in black (Specifically African American) culture, which literally makes y’all look like fools. Black identities and cultural mannerisms are not for your consumption or appropriation.
In case you didn’t know:
And NOWADAYS, the Electoral College heavily favors states with high prison populations for exactly the same reasons.Â

LOUDER
[id: a tweet by @jessewente reads: Colonial states separate children from parents because they know it works. It destroys and traumatizes for generations. It’s an attack on the future as well as the present. It’s not a partisan issue, it’s a colonial one.]
hello i just want to say that i understand the thought process behind “wlw cant fetishize women” and i understand where this comes from but also its still relevant to the conversation to talk about how white wlw sexualize woc. i saw a post claiming that bringing this up is derailing and that “ppl know what we mean” but i really dont think it is!
white wlw need to be aware of how they view woc. they need to be conscious of this sexualization. conscious of how they speak about our bodies. conscious of how they touch us. conscious of their expectations on our sexuality and wants and desires. white women have a long history of violence! yall contribute to our fetishization and abuse!! its relevant to the conversation and it may be uncomfortable to acknowledge but it needs to be said and heard.
a woman viewing another woman sexually is not inherently dehumanizing, but you still need to take into consideration the way race plays into it.
