the 60’s. Trans wasn’t a word yet by the 60s, we were called transvestites back then, and called ourselves “full time” to distinguish ourselves from “part time"crossdressers.

The 60’s was the decade before TERFism became a thing, who caused quite a few years when there wasn’t a T. The ‘70s and ’80s was when 2nd wave feminism was at it’s peak and TERFism was the most mainstream feminism there was. There was no trans acceptance in the community at this time unless you were okay with misgendering yourself, trans women had to call ourselves gay men and trans men only got acceptance if they called themselves butch lesbians. terfs are still saying we all should go back to before the T was in the acronym so when the fuck did that happen, the ’50s? 20 years before terf ideologies existed?

the 80s is when​ we had to reclaim the word queer exactly because there was no trans acceptance or T in the acronym in any use by then

so the flag is for gay men? it’s settled it’s not an umbrella. and, if you want a flag that represents a community that trans people have never been removed from and one that has any reason to exclude aces, you should make that flag yourself and give it a name because that community sure doesn’t exist yet.

Do you only think white girls can be lesbians? Girls still eat each other out on their periods. You don’t know anything about lesbian sex it’s ok.

i was watching the second episode of I Am Cait, and at one point caitlyn said trans people are only 0.8% of the human population. and i keep thinking that we’re such a small minority that we’ll never be taken seriously if we continue like that, if there’s not that many of us :/

parents all over the world, i beg you. if your child is afab and says they wanna try on boy clothes, please take them to a doctor so they can start testosterone shots. if your amab child says they wanna wear makeup for fun or try on girl clothes, please let them take hormone blockers and estrogen. they are completely safe. it’s essential that we build a trans empire. i bet if parents and kids are more open minded to being trans we can get transgender peope to ammount to 10-20% of the human population, and that would be awesome, because we will no longer be a weak tiny minority, we will be powerful and our voice will be heard.
