the things that a lot of yβall assume are βlesbian onlyβ feelings and experiences and tag with βnon-lesbians donβt touchβ rlly reveals a lot of assumptions u have abt what bi women feel and experience. iβve said it before and iβll say it again, lesbians and bi women have far more in common with each other than not, and the differences should not be defined without input from bi women themselves
this includes, among others: not wanting to be with men, wanting to reclaim your body and identity from men, wanting to exist entirely without the male gaze, feeling alienated by m/w relationships and heterosexuality, being repulsed by men, being ostracized for rejecting a specific man or group of men or men in general, being pressured to prioritize men, feeling outcasted and alienated by other women and the rest of the lgbt community, wanting to center your life around women, and wanting to define your gender and how it intersects with your sexuality in a way that specifies rejection of men and your lack of desire to act on attraction to men. These experiences all heavily affect bi women, especially bi women with girlfriends/wives, who are gnc and/or non-cis, who donβt date men, who have trauma surrounding men, or who strongly prefer women.

βthey didnβt have my flag at pride.β okay. thereβs a solution to that, and itβs called bringing your flag to pride. if any flag is there, itβs because someone brought it in themselves. what do you think pride is. were you going to file a complaint to the official pride headquarters or what

Here is a strongly held opinion for you:
Telling women to modify their behaviour to avoid being victims of violent crime makes women LESS safe, as it allows predators to view women not adhering to these βrulesβ as fair game.
