Why did nobody in Fullmetal Alchemist carry around some fucking backup transmutation circles. Like Riza is there with a box full of fresh gloves for Roy when he gets soaked but you’d think after the first time he got rendered useless in a fight by some dude with a water bottle he’d start carrying around a spare set in a waxed bag or something but NOOOOO. And Ed’s even fucking worse like his arm gets destroyed how many times???? AND HE ACTS SURPRISED EVERY TIME. OH NO MY ARM. NOW I CAN’T ALCHEMY. Shit, boy, draw some transmutation circles ahead of time and keep em in your coat, this isn’t hard. “Oh no, you’ve destroyed my arm again, whatever shall I SIKE” Ed says, before throwing a rock with ‘explode’ written on it at his attacker and making good his escape. Everyone’s always carving shit into their skin or drawing it in their own blood, HOW BOUT INSTEAD YOU CARRY A PIECE OF FUCKING CHALK. Alchemists are useless
Riza ghostwrote this
anyway idc your stance on acecourse but stop putting hate//2//breakittoya on my dash theyre nbphobic as hell
their url is bottom//sona now and they literally said “being nb doesn’t impact your reality at all it just provides you with another social group to align yourself with” and claimed that all nb spaces are just echo chambers with bad politics
please reblog this so people know to stop reblogging from a transphobe
honestly the whole time reading these, i’m just sitting here thinking these folks sure have spent a lot of time crafting their weird bigoted theories into something that look academic. like it’s just going in circles and could be simply summarised into “i don’t think nonbinariness is real”.
I could have a cuter room if I wasn’t a goblin who threw all her shit on the floor
Walking was invented by a super cool fish who decided to risk it all
The idea that “suffering builds character” is 100% capitalistic propaganda. Telling someone that they are experiencing hardship “for their own good” or their own personal growth is bullshit because it makes it seem like there is morality and purpose behind suffering. People don’t need to be poor, to struggle to put food on the table, or worry whether or not they’re going to have a roof over their head at the end of the week just to become “better” people. You know what else builds character? Surviving. So don’t act like the excess food, water and shelter that we have would be wasted on people who need it just because people working themselves to death is a capitalistic requirement.
“traps aren’t trans women, they’re effeminate gay dudes who crossdress to deceive and fuck straight guys”
ok but you’ve, just decided to counter an accusation of transphobia with “checkmate, i’m a huge transphobe AND homophobe. weren’t expecting that one hey?”. like you really thought your knowledge of fetish anime would make you look Less Grosscontinually surprised how chasers think they’re getting away with: “my fetish isn’t trans women, my fetish is just identical in every way to trans women except closeted, or traumatised to staying in the closet and who doesn’t have the language or confidence to ask to be respected. also a cartoon usually.”
Also, for those who say “b-but how do I describe my anime waifu now????” – Japanese doesn’t even use the term ‘trap.’ It’s a transmisogynist term that started on 4chan that’s coercively applied to any person assigned male at birth that crossdresses (jousou, which is a neutral term in Japanese) presents femininely (onee), or is otherwise feminine of center (trans women, transfems, x -gender, as well as various GNC men, cis drag queens etc.), both in Western fandom and irl. It’s a slur, just like sh*male.
More about there term here, from Andrea Ritsu, a Japanese trans woman.
Basically: stop using it.
Are you hydrated? If not, have a glass of water.
Have you eaten in the past three hours? If not, get some food — something with protein, not just simple carbs. Perhaps some nuts or hummus?
Have you showered in the past day? If not, take a shower right now.
If daytime: are you dressed? If not, put on clean clothes that aren’t pajamas. Give yourself permission to wear something special, whether it’s a funny t-shirt or a pretty dress.
If nighttime: are you sleepy and fatigued but resisting going to sleep? Put on pajamas, make yourself cozy in bed with a teddy bear and the sound of falling rain, and close your eyes for fifteen minutes — no electronic screens allowed. If you’re still awake after that, you can get up again; no pressure.
Have you stretched your legs in the past day? If not, do so right now. If you don’t have the spoons for a run or trip to the gym, just walk around the block, then keep walking as long as you please. If the weather’s crap, drive to a big box store (e.g. Target) and go on a brisk walk through the aisles you normally skip.
Have you said something nice to someone in the past day? Do so, whether online or in person. Make it genuine; wait until you see something really wonderful about someone, and tell them about it.
Have you moved your body to music in the past day? If not, do so — jog for the length of an EDM song at your favorite BPM, or just dance around the room for the length of an upbeat song.
Have you cuddled a living being in the past two days? If not, do so. Don’t be afraid to ask for hugs from friends or friends’ pets. Most of them will enjoy the cuddles too; you’re not imposing on them.
Do you feel ineffective? Pause right now and get something small completed, whether it’s responding to an e-mail, loading up the dishwasher, or packing your gym bag for your next trip. Good job!
Do you feel unattractive? Take a goddamn selfie. Your friends will remind you how great you look, and you’ll fight society’s restrictions on what beauty can look like.
Do you feel paralyzed by indecision? Give yourself ten minutes to sit back and figure out a game plan for the day. If a particular decision or problem is still being a roadblock, simply set it aside for now, and pick something else that seems doable. Right now, the important part is to break through that stasis, even if it means doing something trivial.
Have you seen a therapist in the past few days? If not, hang on until your next therapy visit and talk through things then.
Have you been over-exerting yourself lately — physically, emotionally, socially, or intellectually? That can take a toll that lingers for days. Give yourself a break in that area, whether it’s physical rest, taking time alone, or relaxing with some silly entertainment.
Have you changed any of your medications in the past couple of weeks, including skipped doses or a change in generic prescription brand? That may be screwing with your head. Give things a few days, then talk to your doctor if it doesn’t settle down.
Have you waited a week? Sometimes our perception of life is skewed, and we can’t even tell that we’re not thinking clearly, and there’s no obvious external cause. It happens. Keep yourself going for a full week, whatever it takes, and see if you still feel the same way then.
You’ve made it this far, and you will make it through. You are stronger than you think.
thank you so much
hm changed my mind i don’t want to think about being disabled today
